KELLY BALLOU

Kelly Ballou earned a Bachelor's of Music Performance at the University of Louisville before going on to complete a Master's in Voice and Opera at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. A specialist in Baroque opera and chamber music, Ms. Ballou has often performed as a soloist with early music organizations around the US, including Opera Lafayette, Haymarket Opera, Bourbon Baroque, and the Amherst Early Music Festival. Career highlights include her performance on the "Civilization VI" game soundtrack and a soloist performance on the Kronos' Quartet's Grammy-winning album "Terry Riley: Sun Rings". Ms. Ballou's choral credits include performances with the San Francisco Symphony Chorus, Cappella SF, Volti, the Louisville Chamber Choir, and the Mirandola Ensemble, as well as international appearances at the World Symposium on Choral Music in Kyoto, Japan; the Grand Prix of Choral Music in Busan, South Korea; the Voices of the Baltic Conference in Tallinn, Estonia; and the International Chamber Choir Competition in Marktoberdorf, Germany.
