Leandra Ramm (mezzo-soprano) recently returned to Pocket Opera as The Dog in The Cunning Little Vixen after appearing as Prince Orlofsky in Die Fledermaus. At San Francisco Symphony she starred as a soloist in Ecstasy at SoundBox, Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms and Bach’s Magnificat. Career highlights include L’enfant et les Sortileges (Pacific Symphony), Cunning Little Vixen (West Edge Opera) and West Side Story (Opera San Jose). Ms. Ramm is often seen on Bay Area stages including performances with San Francisco Opera, Cal Performances, and American Bach Soloists. International appearances include Buxton Opera House and London Philharmonic. Highlights from the 2023-2024 season include First Witch in Dido’s Ghost and Dido and Aeneas with Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, Paggio in Rigoletto with Opera San Jose, and Third Lady in The Magic Flute with Livermore Valley Opera.
